About the frame 

Each frame is crafted by hand 

and made of reclaimed wood 
from New York buildings in

SoHo and the Lower East Side, 

that are more than 200 years old.

The selected wood for the frames 

are cut from salvaged construction beams 

that sometimes include nail holes and minor 

dents from fixtures.

We have chosen to leave these details intact 

as they are a proof of their previous 

existence and functionality.

Each installation is made to order, 

signed by John-Michael Ekeblad,

and have the photographs titel and limited 

edition serial number displayed on a label 

applied onto the back panel.
